Welcome to my 2008 Hosta Catalog. This year's list features 24 new additions including `Ruffles Galore', `Walden', and `Yoshie'.

2007 continued to be a challenge with high temperatures and very little rain. Some hostas are now emerging in April and going dormant in September. Flowers are also less numerous due to high heat.

Ohio experienced warm pre-Easter temperatures followed by an Easter day freeze in the teens. Perennials in the ground did not suffer; but trees and shrubs were already coming into leaf and a large percentage were killed outright by the low temperatures.

Global Warming is causing havoc worldwide. All continents are affected, and there's no easy way out of the situation.
